If you’re like most bloggers then you’re probably beating yourself over the head trying to think of ways to promote yourself and your blog.  It can be hard to get the message out there that you exist and that you are providing valuable content.

3.  Help: Provide Help and Meet People’s Needs. People love those who reach out to them with a helping hand.  Develop your online persona as the person who reaches out and provides information and help with no desire to get anything in return.  That selfless attitude will attract people faster than you’ll know what to do with them.  Besides, there’s no better feeling than really helping someone who is in need.

Now what are you waiting for?  Locate a forum in your niche, get involved, and start helping people.  These tips won’t just expose you to the world.  They will expose you as credible, helpful, genuine and intelligent.  They will help to develop a brand that is really worth having.

I have blogged for almost five years now, and I learn a lot of things from it as well as make so many mistake from it.  And what did I do about it? I learn from the mistake and keep improving to become better blogger, and trust me learn from you mistake is better than learn from other – experience is the best teacher.

Sometime the mistake is simple mistake or small mistake that no effect your blog much, but on the other time it could be a big mistake that could cost you a blog.   Don’t mind if it a small or a big mistake but you got to learn something from it because that how this world work.

So do I need to intentionally make mistake? No, you shouldn’t – in fact if possible try to avoid doing mistake but nobody  is perfect right? Mistake does happen, and when it happen make sure you take every single thing out of it.  Some tips to improve your blog from your mistake -

Step 1. Find the bug – the biggest mistake you could have done is by not realize that you actually making a mistake.  If you think there is something wrong with your blog like down in general performance try to look deep down into what you doing and find the mistake.

Step 2. Find the bug origin – now you should know what the mistake is (if not repeat the step 1), then you should find what the mistake happen, did you do it? or did google did it?  see the mistake from different angle so that you deeply understand and can find what cause the mistake.

Step 3. Learn the bug effect – when you know you actually making a mistake in blogging, make sure your learn what actually happen, did you gain lesser visitor or did you lost your reputation etc by learn what that mistake effect you, in future when you see the symptom you can react as soon as possible.

Step 4. Find the best pesticide to kill the bug – After all above steps now you should understand  about the mistake (at least almost everything) now you should find the way to remove the mistake (I don’t think remove is proper word here – but nevermind), you can do it by learn from other blog post, ask your friend or problogger or anyone that you think can help but the simple way is just google it.

Step 5. Mummy the bug – Don’t just ignore the mistake even after you already ‘remove it’ but you should store in you mind about the mistake, so that in future if the mistake occur again (which is very likely to happen) you can solve it in shorter time.

I ever use both blogger and wordpress, so I have pretty good knowledge about both blog platform.  Everyone should know that choosing the right blog platform is the first thing you must think to start a blog, here I give 10 reasons why you should change from blogger to wordpress (just don’t take it so serious) -

1. As far as I concern none blogger template converted into wordpress, but lot of themes from wordpress converted into blogger template.  Copycat?

Are you a mother? Or are you a father?

Either of that or neither, you should already know what are the quality to become a good mother, and that quality is really useful in blogging that why learning from a mother really help you to become better blogger.

What I mean here is not ‘mother’ is a good blogger or better blogger than us (men) but if you use the quality of a good mother, don’t care whether you’re a men or women or just a kid you absolutely will become a better blogger.

Let we do a simple activity shall we?, think about ‘what are the quality of good mother?’ For me I go with -

1. a loving mother and know how to show it

2. caring – correct us when we wrong and praise us when we right

3. reply with a smile when we angry

4. always give without asking anything for return

5. always have time for use when we in need.

So how those qualities can help you become a better blogger? Let me assure you, you don’t need to blog about parenting to apply all the qualities, because it not idea for your blog post, but it is the qualities that you should have as blogger.  Here how to apply the qualities -

A Loving mother and know how to show it

You shouldn’t just love your blog, but you also need to love your reader and show to them that you actually love them.  How to love them and how to show it?  Simple provide and give what the want, let say for my blog my reader come and read my blog post to learn more about blogging, so I show them that I love them all by try my best to give new knowledge that can help them in my blog post.  So love your reader and show it that you do.

Caring – correct us when we wrong and praise us when we right

Other than love your reader you should also care your reader especially when people looking for you if they have problem.  Sometime they comment in your blog and try to give their opinion, you should correct them if they wrong and praise the if they right, because they take time to comment you should take time to at least say thank you to their effort.  Like mother care of her kids you should also care your reader.

Reply with a smile when we angry

Mother yes sometime they do mad at us and angry at us, but most of the time, we the one who actually angry with them but what she do, she reply with a smile.  And as blogger you should learn how to make it as your way of blogging.  Sometime people disagree with what you write and even angry with it, they accuse you that, they shitty you this so what should you do? Shitty them back? No, you should reply with a good word and ask what their problem with you so that you can fix it and actually build a relationship with them, turn the hater into your reader.

Always give without looking without asking for return

This quality not only mother should have but everyone should have it especially blogger.  You blog is giving tips let say about design, you should always give them what they want and don’t push them to give you something back, that just not nice.  I hope in every post I can give something useful for you, and I’m not looking any return from it yes of course I much appreciate if you could give a thought about it and share the post. Always have time for us when we in need

Yes we can’t always be 24/7 for our reader, but at least when they asking for help or inquiry about something do reply to them as soon as possible, maybe they really in need and good mother always have time for her kids and you should always spent some time for your reader, we talk about connecting aren’t we?  Be good to your reader, always have time for your reader, simple.
