Past few weeks I been busy with some of my latest projects, what can I do for this blog is a new theme and couldn’t write much for it.  My draft post is exhausted and time like this I really need people to give their article so that I can publish here.  Use contact form if you interested to guest posting here.  Like the post title, this post is about a project, a contest and a great blog.

I start with  a project which is wpnoob.  Wpnoob is a blog for me to share latest news and resources focusing on wordpress matter.  So if you wordpress user make sure you subscribe wpnoob feed or visit it often, because I will update about 5-10 post per day depend on available resource.  For now most of the post about tutorial, plugins and themes of wordpress, more will be added soon.  WPnoob also open for anyone to submit news/post just make sure it related to wordpress.  So visit wpnoob.

Wordpress not only good for personal blog or magazine blog but it also good in other type of website, for example portfolio, galleries, photoblog and also microblog.  Wordpress codex make it much easier to be edited and been use for other purpose that blog, no wonder it is the best CMS of this year.    But today I want to focus more on web gallery that using wordpress as CMS, the galleries come from various niche – logo, themes,css,graphic.  So enjoy and give your thought about using wordpress as web gallery.

I believe most of us blogging with goals in mind.  We want that, we want this from blogging, and everyone have it own measurement of success. But not everyone can get that, not everyone can do what other bloggers successfully achieved from their blog, fail is always the another path.

If they can do it, why can’t you?  With that question in mind, you start a blog, you start writing post, you start do what other blogger suggest you to do, you spend lot of time blogging and then you fail.  You give up you crack and you say blog is a scam.  Remember when all else fails, pro bloggers don’t, in fact they make more money a month than you make a year (i mean me).

“So what should I do, I try, I do what I supposed to do, I put dedication in it but still I fail”  If you have that question, I do understand because I ask the same question before, and trust me if you work and really committed yourself into blogging you also will create a winner blog, here some fact to help you -

What you learn from pro bloggers just 50% from what you should do – You may spending more time and perhaps money to learn about blogging from other bloggers, books, journal etc but believe me what you learn from it is not enough.  You need to think and create your own ways to make sure you can get what you want from blogging.

Blog is not a shortcut to success, but it just another way to it – You may motivated by the fact that many blogger quit from their daily job for blogging and make money more from they do before, me too love to have that kind of life, who doesn’t?.  But it not as simple as that, you still need to work hard and fail many time before you actually achieved that, so it not a shortcut to easy life, but it just another direction to gain it.

There is no such thing as “blog is not for me” – When we fail in doing one thing, often to relax ourselves we just say “maybe this thing is not for me” it could be right for something that involved talent like singing or actor but for blog there is zero truth in it.  Blog is for everyone, everyone can successful in it, if you fail, learn why you fail and improve.  I have face fail and success but it never stop me from learning.

Those are some fact that you should hold to make sure that you able to create successful blog.   I not only refer to making money with blog, but also other goals that you want to achieved, all that is possible if you wise and confident enough to handle everything that prevent you from get it.

So what you think motivated you to make sure you not giving up in blogging even you fail many time?  If you think you already success in blogging I and other reader too would love to know what is the recipe of success in blogging.

Brand is important to make sure people know you, when talk about your name people will think about you, about your blog about you invention etc.  But it not the overnight job though, you have to work hard to actually promote yourself online.

When Izzat Aziz appear in forum or twitter or facebook, nobody care about that unless my friends adn some of my readers.  But if Darren Rowse or John Chow or Seth Godin name pop up in a forum or twitter or facebook it will wow everybody, everyone will try add/follow/communicate with them.. that what brand can do to you.

Even my name is not that popular, but I know some rules to actually branded yourself.  And I using some of it and hope it will pay off sooner rather than later.  So I want to share it with you and hope you also can benefit from it.  Here the ‘a lot’ rules -

1. Use your face a lot – in gravatar, in forum, in twitter, in facebook or in anywhere just use your face so that people know you.  Every time people see your face they know its you.  People tend to remember face more than you name. So if people always see yourself it actually already help to branded your self, and when people know your name they will remember it easily.

2. Use your name a lot – be proud of your name, always say your name in whatever thing you do or say or write.  If you watch Boston Legal, try Denny Crane way – every time he say something he will ended with his name.  Maybe you don’t have to be 100%  like that, but use your name in right way could help branded yourself a lot.  For starter maybe you should have your name as your domain because it basic thing for branded.

3. Use your tagline a lot – I love John Chow tagline, “I Make Money by Telling People How I Make Money Online” it simple but it catchy.  You should have your own tagline though, and use it a lot especially in forum, email etc.  As for me I use “Learn how to have fun with blog and make fund out of it”  maybe it need some improvement, but at least I have one and you should too.

4. have a lot of twitter follower and tweet a lot – twitter as you know a very good place to brand yourself, people in your country might not know who the hell are you but in twitter even 12 years old boy can be famous.  You just need to have numbers of follower and try to tweet as many as you can but with good tweet no useless tweet so that people enjoy your tweet and actually talk or retweet about it.

5. have a lot of facebook fan -  facebook like twitter also a good place to create your brand, make sure you create facebook fan page for your blog, and make sure all you reader become a fan, if you have numbers of fan, people will notice it and actually become your fan even they still a new reader.  I will create one for my blog make sure you check it out.

6. keep telling people, you make a lot of money in whatever you do and do it a lot – people always motivated when talk about money, and if you actually make money with what ever things you do, just make sure that you keep tell people about it, because people will love you and hope can learn from you how to make it too, so it the easiest way to branded your self.

7. write good content a lot – more good content you write, more people will notice and actually love you.  People will share good content, what you write spread all around the world as well as your name.  So keep writing good stuff, and brand will happen by itself.  A bit of footnote, if you think my content is good please do share.

8. do a guest author a lot – if you want to be more famous, you can’t just stay at your home.  You should leave your name in other places too.  And one of the ways to do it is by do a guest authoring, I love the way Nick from SiteSketch101 do it, and he even have one guest post here in my blog and he doing it a lot in other places too.. that why SiteSketch101 is already a great blog.

9. follow this rules, and do it a lot – now you know some of the rules to branded yourself, what you need to do is keep doing it and also find other way, with a bit hard work and dedication you sure will branded yourself perfectly. That what I wanted and damn sure what you wanted too.
