blogread I read more than 100 blogs per day and its fun.When you love blogging it is not only you love to update your blog, but you also must love to visit other blogs, read their post, enjoy it and comment, that is principal that I hold even now.  I visit more than one hundred blogs per day and if all of them updated, I will comment on more than one hundred blogs per day.  I love doing it, it really is fun and enjoyable you should try it too.  There are various reasons for it some of them -

1. Find information and also for learning – information is just a click a way, what we need to do is just visit other people blogs and you can get a lot of information either you looking for it or you dont.  Reading one hundred blogs per day just like you read one hundred different book per day, it really are full with information.  I also learn lot of things by do blog walking, and read if there are interesting post I even going through the archive and look for older post that interest me.  Most of material about designing that I learn come from blogs not book.

2. Ideas for next post – I always try my best to make sure that I update this blog every single day, but man have it limit so am I.  There is always days when I just out of idea what to write and what to share.  But sometime when I going to other blogs, read their post, comment, the ideas suddenly just pop-up.  Even if it is not related to what I currently read, the ideas still coming and coming.  For example there is one time when I read news blog talking about the kid was kidnapped, and from that reading I come out with 10 reasons why you will never be abducted by Alien post, it somewhat not related but it still occurs to me.

3. Get link and traffic -  This is new blog, absolutely new I just have 12 posts currently, and not many people know about my blog.  So by visiting other people blogs and participate in the topic, I just get myself a link and sometime it brings me number of visitors.  It is the most fun and informative way ever to get traffic, believe me on this one.  But don’t go there and comment just only so that you get traffic and link,it not nice.  Let say in future my blog is popular and its traffic is high, I definitely still do my blog walking all the time even I in no need for link and traffic.

To say Hi and thank you – Blog is about connecting, and connecting mean you need to know and Hi to other people too.  Why not find some blog that may interest you, read its post, comment about the post and also to say Hi and come back again tomorrow.  Even they never reply your visit, you shouldn’t stop visiting theirs especially if you enjoy reading their post, that is the most important thing actually. If people actually found my blog and comment on my post, he/she definitely will be on my everyday visit list, because that is the way I say thank you to them for coming and comment on my blog.  So if you are new where and never comment before, you should because then you will on my everyday visit list.

5. For my blog list – I currently compiling large number of blogs that I enjoy read and will visit everyday, I want put it all together and display it in one place.  It is my future project, so for now I will looking and looking for blogs who interest  me enough, like I say in point four if you comment on my blog you already on my list.  When the list is big enough I will share it with you.

I think one hundred blogs per day is small number still, what do you think? How many you visit blog per day? And why?  Would you recommend  any good blogs for my list?

    One suggestion to complement your efforts at blog commenting: you need to have a presence in Twitter or Facebook. The friends you’ve made a long the way will help you a lot in promoting your posts. They’re likely to do that because of this thing called reciprocity. You leave comments on their blogs. What’s another step – promoting your posts in the social media – between friends, right?

    One hundred blogs is a lot for me, but maybe in three days I’d be able to cover that. I love your enthusiasm though. That’s a good thing.

    true, i do have twitter and facebook even it still not work like i want it to be.. but I still put my best effort.. lucky for me sometime in that 100 blogs, only some of them actually update.. so it took less time.. :D

    it depend actually, if most of the blog updated it took 2-3 hours.. but usually not many update at same time, so about 1 hour more or less :D

    Truly speaking, I not get much chance to comment where I visit. I really run out of time. I have some plan and I have to achieve it within the period. I spend my time to build dofollow link to increase my search engine PR. I recently change my domain, so all my old domain direct link need time to adjust and it’s better for me to concentrate on link building. I choose blogging as a career and I have to compete with other similar blog. So, I always away to find good ideas and transfer those ideas into a good article.

    In spite of all this fact I have to agree, visiting blog always give resource. I follow 50-60 well known blogs in my field regularly. If you want to follow a good blog then I must say visit whatsonmypc.wordpress.com and check his launch pad.

    i create my own blog list. when the list is big enough i share with you all the link.. i just open that blog list.. and just go read one by one.. i don’t want to use rss reader because i might be missing some conversation in previous post that i commented, because he/she not update. it classic but i like it.. :D
