Let talk about love shall we? But this is not personal blog so it not about love your wife or love your cat love your neighbor but this is about loving your blog. Before I go further I need to ask one very much important question, did you love your blog? If you don’t maybe should just check other post, leave this post only for who love their blog.
Its true that blog is only a place to write and place to share whatever you think. But there is no reason you shouldn’t love your blog, it is not weird couple stuff – you can love your blog like you love your girlfriend but in blog ways. So how to love your blog like you love your girlfriend/boyfriend -
1. Always give to her whatever her need – Of course we still talk about blog, her here mean your blog, the most important thing that blog need is content. Content is what make blog, blog – without content you can’t call it blog.. and content also need frequently updated so that you satisfy her need. Maybe blog can’t show expression or complaining but if she could and you not updating the content, I believe she will be crying out loud asking for new content/post because that what make her alive.
2. Make sure everyone know her – Maybe this is not apply to real life girlfriend but for blog, yes you should make her popular, so that everyone notice her. I know you understand what I mean – traffic. After you give her need, which is content after that you should make sure that people know about it, content without people to read it is kinda useless. How to get traffic for her, well there are many ways to get traffic but some of it you can read - I read 100 blogs per day and its fun.
3. Always say something good to her – It somewhat different from real life, if in real life you should say something good to your girlfriend/boyfriend so that she/he feel ease, but for blog not you but other people should say something good to her, hence commenting. I know for some reasons comment is not that important, but if you love your blog you should make sure she got enough content so that she feel more valuable. How to do that? Of course you must satisfy all her need of above matter, and build your own community or readership.
4. Buy her nice and quality dress – All women want to look good, so as blog, yes love is blind but if you love your blog you should buy her very nice and also good in quality dress or theme in blogging term. A starter like me maybe doesn’t need to worry about theme, but don’t put it aside because theme is very important to make sure your blog more stand up than other blog. Currently I’m using this theme because it look clean and also I never see anyone use it before even it free themes, even it free I will edit it to make sure it look different from it original form. But I am planning to buy thesis theme[affiliate link] because it probably the best premium theme available and elegant themes[affiliate link] have good quality themes too. You should get better or unique theme, if you think your current theme not good enough.
5. Make sure she stay at good home – Last but not least you definitely must give her with good house – which is hosting. This only apply if you use your own hosting not blogger.com or wordpress.com, hosting is important to make sure that she live happily ever after(?), maybe for now I shouldn’t care much about hosting since my blog not that busy but still you should at least using hosting that have good customer service, uptime and speed. Currently I’m very happy with my hosting, but maybe will change to better hosting in future.
